Merseyside Police has crushed a stretched limo as part of an on-going operation to ensure the safety of passengers being carried by limousines and public service vehicles.

As part of this operation a 'stretched limousine', which had been illegally modified with a third axle being fitted, was seized and was crushed on Friday, 9 January because it did not meet UK safety laws. The vehicle was also operating outside of the conditions of the insurance policy and driver’s licensing conditions.

Companies running public service vehicles (PSVs) with eight seats or more must have an operator’s licence to show that they meet strict rules on safety procedures and financial standing.

If a limousine company does not have an operator’s licence and is not registered for private hire with a local authority then there is a risk that the driver may not hold the correct licence, any insurance could be invalid and it might not be constructed or maintained to a safe standard.

How many passengers can you carry on your buses?

Our Limobuses can legally carry up to 16 passengers.

Is hiring your vehicles expensive?

We offer packages for as little as £10 per passenger(terms and conditions apply).

Can we bring our own alcoholic drinks on-board?

Parties over the age of 18 can bring their own alcoholic drinks with the exception of red wine or dark colour drinks.

We do also have a alcohol licence to provide drink.

How much is the deposit?

To make a reservation we require deposit, normally its £50 but sometimes a smaller amount is ok.

we except all major debit/credit cards.

Can our kids travel on their own?

For the safety of your children it is required that a responsible adult to be present.

When do I pay the remaining balance?

The outstanding balance can be paid before the day or will be collected on the day of hire, before the journey starts.

Payment on the day can be paid by cash. We do not accept payment by cheque on the night.

Is the deposit refundable?

No. Deposits paid will be discounted from the total balance and are therefore non-refundable.

Do you supply music?

Yes we do, but our clients are welcome to bring their own.

How far ahead should we book?

The general rule is as early as possible. The later you leave a booking the more likely the date you want may not be available.

What is your smoking policy?

It is a legal requirement that we do not allow smoking in our vehicles.

Are your vehicles insured and Licenced properly?

Our vehicles are fully insured and are PSV Licenced and COIF Registered.

They also have regular independent Safety Checks.

How experience are your chauffeurs?

They are all checked, extremely experienced, and respectful of our passengers needs.
