Questions about limobus hire

How many passengers can you carry?

Our Limobuses can legally carry up to 16 passengers.

Is hiring your vehicles expensive?

We offer packages for as little as £10 per passenger(terms and conditions apply).

Can we bring our own alcoholic drinks on-board?

Parties over the age of 18 can bring their own alcoholic drinks with the exception of red wine or dark colour drinks, We do also have a alcohol licence to provide drink.

How much is the deposit?

To make a reservation we require deposit, normally its £50 but sometimes a smaller amount is ok. we except all major debit/credit cards.

Can our kids travel on their own.

For the safety of your children it is required that a responsible adult to be present.

When do I pay the remaining balance?

The outstanding balance can be paid before the day or will be collected on the day of hire, before the journey starts. Payment on the day can be paid by cash. We do not accept payment by cheque on the night.

Is the deposit refundable?

No. Deposits paid will be discounted from the total balance and are therefore non-refundable.

Do you supply music

Yes we do, but our clients are welcome to bring their own.

How far ahead should we book?

The general rule is as early as possible. The later you leave a booking the more likely the date you want may not be available.

What is your smoking policy?

It is a legal requiremnet that we do not allow smoking in our vehicles.

Is your vehicle insured?

Our vehicles are fully insured and are PSV Licenced and COIF Registered.

How experience are your chauffeurs?

They are all checked, extremely experienced, and respectful of our passengers needs.

Limousines and the Law

For the benefit of both the general public and limousine operators alike, it has become necessary to clarify the ways that operators may legally operate. The list below states categorically what is, and is not, legal and the conditions that must be complied with to ensure that your limousine remains legal at all times.

Passengers Vehicles from (9 to 16) passenger seats

There are several different ways that an operator may hire a Public Service Vehicle Operators Licence limousine for hire and reward Provided that the vehicle has achieved a Certificate of initial fitness (COIF) it may carry up to the number stated on the plate attached to the vehicle. It must then be driven by a PSV licensed driver.

Limousines up to (8) passenger

Private hire - Providing that the local authority in question is willing and sensible it is possible in around half of the local authorities to license limousines as private hire. There are 404 local licensing authorities and unfortunately around 181 of them will not licence limousines.

Public Service Vehicle Operators licence.

It is possible to operate a vehicle of 8 passenger seats (or less) as a PSV under section 265 of the Transport 2000 Act, this licence is granted by the Traffic Commissioners and is totally separate to any local authority licence This route only applies through England and Wales and excludes central London.

Public Carriage Office

This applies to vehicles registered and operating within London, they must be licensed by the PCO as the rules for London are specific and different to the rest of the country. Operators from outside London may enter London, provided that the way they operate is recognised as legal in the part of the country they come from.

High school proms have been going on in the USA for years and since they reached the UK they are ever popular. This is the main reason we have limousines and they have developed into the luxury party buses you see know.

That buzz and excitement is a highly sought after once in a lifetime experience and you only get one go at it. This means limousine company’s through out the UK are generally booked up during May to July.

That's why, if you want to avoid disappointment, you need to be thinking about your limo bus hire as soon as the date of your school prom is announced. Some schools are very organised and release their school prom date early, while others don't tell you until later in the year.
